Tech Lighting Pendants: A Variety Of Choices
Tech Lighting pendants come in a vast array of shapes and colors. They can be made to hang from the ceiling or from a monorail lighting system. The choices are so numerous that it might be difficult to select the ones you need. A few examples will illustrate the variety.
Bedazzled is a pendant design that is made of a cone of curled up copper wires. It has beads positioned throughout the design for a sparkling effect. It can be used on the Tech Lighting monorail, the two-circuit monorail, or in Kable Lite or FreeJack. The design is somewhat busy, but if you want a conversation-starter, this pendant will suffice.
Geometric Design
The Cube is exactly what it sounds like. It is a pendant shaped in a geometric design. It has halogen lamp with a glass shield made by Pyrex. It comes in deep amber, amethyst, cobalt, or a simple white color. Cube pendants can be used with 12 volt or 24 volt systems of the common low voltage Tech brands.
Tech Lighting's Cone is a six and one half inch tall pendant in the shape of a cone. The Cone comes in six colors plus a transparent glass version. The ones in color have a white inside surface that helps reflect the direct light out into the room.
The Fab has a shade that is made of Indian silk. The edges on the shade are hand rolled. The length of the shade is 8.4 inches, and it is cylindrical in shape. It comes in almond, red, and white. It comes with a 12 or 24 volt halogen lamp. It can be used on any of Tech's low voltage lighting systems.
Tech Lighting has several fire style pendants. One is the Firebird. It is made of Murano glass that has a pattern in it. This surrounds a raindrop glass. This pendant comes in six colors. It is relatively heavy, at two and a half pounds.
Meteor Design
There are a couple of meteor style pendants in Tech's inventory. The Meteor Frit is one that has dome shaped glass with a swirling pattern in the color. It comes in amber frit, blue frit, multicolor frit, and white frit. It is also a low voltage lighting fixture.
The Sydney is an interesting pendant that Tech Lighting makes. It has three glass shades, each one smaller than the last and fitting inside it. It comes in only amber and white. The halogen lamp with a Pyrex glass shield is included.
Unlike the Cone, the Summit is an extremely pointy fixture. It has a base of 3.1 inches and is 21 inches tall. Its only finish is satin nickel. It is a very light fixture at only 0.8 pounds. A low voltage fixture, it comes with a halogen light source.
There are many surprises in Tech Lighting pendants. Their dealings with Murano glass give them an edge over companies that only use cheaper glass in their fixtures. If you are looking for variety, Tech has it. Value often comes by buying from online stores other than the manufacturer's.
